Business formation of The India Fruits Private Limited took place on 24th September in the year 1937. We, are a part of this big and reliable company that got establish in Madras during British era. The company commenced two factories at locations- Kadiyam (India) and Peshawar (Now In Pakistan). The reason behind foundation of one factory plant was canning of fruits, vegetables and jams, etc., while the reason for other factory establishment during 1959-1960 after receiving industrial licence was initially, the production of distribution conductors, specifically ACSR & AAC. After a few time, the second factory also started to took production of ACSR Conductors for transmission lines. In 1976, company again after attainment of industrial based license from Government of India, this business unit founded a department in conductors production based factory for the development of grade aluminium wire rod through melting of ingots and uninterrupted casting and rolling process. The company so far produced around thousands kilometers of transmission line based conductors starting from the ones covered by IS:398 Parts-2 and V from ACSR Moose Conductor and ACSR Panther Conductor. It is a matter of pride for the business entity to enjoy being leading supplier of ACSR Moose Conductor of 400 kV rating to NTPC. The promising company holds great prominence in the market for rendering ACSR Snowbird Conductor to POWERGRID. Transmission line conductors are known for other specifications such as Coyote, Lynx, ACSR Kundah and Drake. In 2001, company opened a second unit at SIPCOT Industrial Estate at Gummidipoondi, Timvallur District of Tamil Nadu for production of ACSR Conductors pertaining to transmission and distribution and also ACSR Moose Conductor. This unit was set to meet needs of TNEB and its successors. At Kadiyam based factory, company installed modern equipment and machines for quality development of All Aluminium Alloy Conductors (AAAC) in 2003 at its Kadiyam unit and similar modern technology installation work was done at Gummidipoondi unit. Till now, the company has successfully met needs of AAAC having properties and production done as per requirements of IS:398 (Part-4) 1994.
