Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of BharatSeal — the marketplace, your account and any claimed business profile. Plain language first, legalese kept to a minimum.

Acceptance

Using BharatSeal means you agree to these terms.

  • ●By accessing BharatSeal you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
  • ●These Terms apply to everyone — buyers, suppliers, free and paid users, and claimed business profiles.
  • ●We may update these Terms and will note the new date at the top. Material changes are communicated in-product or by email; continued use means acceptance.

What BharatSeal is

A verified discovery marketplace — we connect buyers and suppliers, we're not a party to your deals.

  • ●BharatSeal helps buyers discover and verify Indian manufacturers, and helps suppliers be found and respond to demand.
  • ●Deals, quotes, payments and delivery are between the buyer and the supplier directly. BharatSeal is not the seller of the goods and is not a party to those contracts unless a BharatSeal-operated service (e.g. escrow, when launched) is expressly used.
  • ●Trust badges and rankings are computed from government-verification signals. Placement cannot be bought — advertising changes visibility, never verification status, and is always labelled 'Sponsored'.

Permitted use

Use it to source, sell and verify — for genuine business.

  • ●Search, verify and contact manufacturers for legitimate commercial and research purposes.
  • ●Claim and manage your own company profile to keep your public information accurate.
  • ●Post Requirements, send enquiries, and respond to buyers in good faith.

Content you publish

Your listings stay yours — you give us the licence needed to display and promote them.

  • ●You keep full ownership of the content you publish on BharatSeal — product listings, photos, videos, company story and storefront material.
  • ●By publishing, you grant BharatSeal a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content on the platform, in search results, and in BharatSeal's own promotional channels (for example featuring verified suppliers or products on our social media) — always attributed to your company, never handed to a competitor.
  • ●You can edit or remove your content at any time; removal ends future promotional use. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload.
  • ●Private enquiries and messages are not "published content" — they are never used in marketing and never resold.

Prohibited use

No scraping, no spam, no fake profiles, no gaming trust.

  • ●Automated scraping, crawling or bulk extraction of the registry beyond normal interactive use.
  • ●Reselling or redistributing BharatSeal data as a standalone product without a written agreement.
  • ●Sending unsolicited bulk marketing (spam) to businesses or users on the platform.
  • ●Creating fake or misleading profiles, impersonating a company, or manipulating the trust-score system.
  • ●Interfering with, probing or attempting to reverse-engineer the platform or its security.

Data accuracy

We aggregate government data as-is — verify anything critical at source.

  • ●BharatSeal aggregates public government records. We don't warrant that information is complete, current or error-free.
  • ●Government data has inherent filing delays; company status, directors and financials reflect the last available filing.
  • ●Do not rely on BharatSeal as the sole basis for credit, legal or high-value decisions. Always confirm critical facts from primary government sources.

Accounts & subscriptions

Being listed is free; paid plans are optional and cancellable anytime.

  • ●Being found, searching and contacting suppliers are free. Optional paid plans (Seller Pro, Buyer Pro) and advertising add tools and reach.
  • ●Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard; cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the paid period.
  • ●Billing, invoices and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Invoices are issued by the GST-registered supplier, SUWIDHAA (GSTIN 29BCSPR1746M1ZN), and are GST-inclusive.
  • ●We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Where practical we give notice; serious abuse (fraud, scraping, safety) may be actioned immediately.

Developer API

An API exists for approved use; it isn't a general public product yet.

  • ●BharatSeal operates a read-only API over public registry data. General self-serve access is not yet open; approved integrations are provisioned individually.
  • ●API keys are confidential and must not be published (e.g. in public code). You are responsible for all usage under your key.
  • ●Rate limits and anti-abuse controls apply. We may change or deprecate endpoints; where an integration is live we give reasonable notice.

Limitation of liability

Provided 'as is'; liability is capped at what you paid us.

  • ●BharatSeal is provided 'as is'. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties.
  • ●Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid BharatSeal in the three months before the claim.
  • ●We are not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental damages, or for the acts, goods or payments of any buyer or supplier you transact with.

Governing law

Indian law; courts of Bengaluru.

  • ●These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • ●Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
