Refund & Cancellation Policy

Most of BharatSeal is free — you only pay for optional subscriptions and advertising. This policy explains, in plain language, how cancellation and refunds work for those, and what happens when order-payment protection (escrow) launches.

What you actually pay for

Being listed and doing deals is free. Only optional tools cost money.

  • BharatSeal is free to search, to be listed, to verify your company, and to contact suppliers. There are no paid leads and no pay-to-rank.
  • Paid products are optional: subscription plans (Seller Pro ₹299/month, Buyer Pro ₹499/month) and advertising via the Grow ad wallet (Sponsored Products, Premium Placement, event ads).
  • All payments are processed by Razorpay. Prices are GST-inclusive and a tax invoice is issued by the GST-registered supplier, SUWIDHAA (GSTIN 29BCSPR1746M1ZN), after each charge.

Subscription plans

Cancel anytime; you keep access to the end of the paid period.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically each cycle until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard — cancellation stops the next renewal.
  • After cancelling, your Pro features stay active until the end of the period you've already paid for. We do not pro-rate a refund for the unused part of the current period.
  • Wrongful or duplicate charges (e.g. a double charge, or a renewal after a confirmed cancellation) are fully refunded — just contact us with the payment reference.
  • If you were charged for a new subscription and haven't used any Pro feature, tell us within 7 days and we'll refund it in full.

Advertising & ad wallet

You only spend what your campaigns use; unspent balance is refundable.

  • Ad-wallet top-ups fund your campaigns. You control budgets and can pause any campaign instantly; you're only charged as your campaigns deliver (per click, per enquiry, or per thousand views).
  • Unspent wallet balance stays yours. You can keep using it for future campaigns, or request a refund of the unspent amount to your original payment method.
  • Amounts already spent on delivered ad placements (clicks, enquiries, impressions served) are not refundable, since the service was provided.

Order payments & escrow

Escrow-backed order protection is coming soon — separate terms will apply.

  • Escrow-backed Trade Assurance is not yet live. Today, payments for goods are made directly between buyer and supplier, and refunds for goods are a matter between those two parties — BharatSeal is not the seller of the goods.
  • When Trade Assurance launches, refunds for protected orders will follow the dedicated Trade Assurance terms, including the dispute window and arbitration process.

How to request a refund

One email; refunds go back to your original payment method.

  • Email care@bharatseal.io with your registered email and the Razorpay payment ID (or the invoice). WhatsApp +91 82757 13569 also works.
  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method via Razorpay, typically within 5–7 business days (bank timelines may vary).
  • Refunds are made net of applicable taxes and are reflected on a credit note where GST law requires one.
