How do I verify that an Indian company is genuine?+
Use the free checker at bharatseal.io/verify — enter a company name, GSTIN or CIN and we match it against official MCA, GST, Udyam and DGFT records, showing exactly which registry verified which detail. No signup.
Is BharatSeal free for buyers and suppliers?+
Yes — buyers search and contact suppliers free, and suppliers claim and verify their profile free. During the founding phase every tool is free for both sides, and the first 500 verified manufacturers keep it free for life. There are no paid leads and no pay-to-rank.
How do I contact a manufacturer, and is my number safe?+
Open any profile and send an enquiry, or post a Requirement. Suppliers reply to you inside BharatSeal; your phone number stays private until you choose to share it. Verified buyers get through — anonymous spam is gated out.
How fast will support reply?+
WhatsApp is fastest — we aim to reply within about 2 hours during office hours (Mon–Sat, 10am–7pm IST). Email is answered within 48 hours; Founding Suppliers get priority.
Does BharatSeal protect my payment?+
Escrow-backed Trade Assurance is coming soon and is not yet live. Until then, follow the safety guide on our Trust & Safety page: verify the supplier, prefer traceable payments to the GST-registered account, and ask for a sample before a bulk order.
