Aurangabad Textiles and Apparel Parks Limited (ATAPL) has land admeasuring about 26.38 acres and has set up a modern garment stitching unit with 150 machines for manufacturing woven and knitted garments and work-wear. They also propose to develop an infrastructure center with facilities for a design studio, testing laboratory, training center, Textile Institute, exhibition and display, international trade fair, and Textile Garmenting Market. The main aim is to provide workwear and uniforms for security staff and factory labor, and to generate local employment. ATAPL, a subsidiary of NTC Ltd, was envisaged to set up modern garments units and proposes to install the latest plant & machinery, with a view to expand up to 500 machines, for manufacturing woven and knitted garments with an installed capacity of 3.0 mn. pcs. p.a.
