Martin Industries Private Limited was established in 1984 as a proprietary concern and upgraded to a Private Limited Company in December 2009. It began as a mechanical engineering manufacturing unit in Ultadanga, Kolkata, in 1986. The company's major production involves manufacturing and supplying Ammunition components to various Ordnance Factories in India, adhering to their drawings and specifications. In 2004, the company diversified into the Auto Components market, both domestic and export, acquiring land and expanding covered space for new machinery. To cater to the export market, their Quality Management System was upgraded to ISO 9001:2008. They have recently increased production facilities to capitalize on the growing Auto Components market, both domestically and internationally. Their distinctive competence lies in precision machining of components up to 250mm diameter and those requiring deep draw operations.
