SOORYA SOLTECH PRIVATE LIMITED
About
The Government of Uttar Pradesh has focused on the development of solar energy due to limited conventional energy reserves, environmental impacts, energy security, and climate change. Solar photovoltaic (PV) technology is an attractive option with abundant solar resources, modular technology, and zero fuel costs over 25-30 years. The Government of Uttar Pradesh aims to achieve 10700 MW of solar capacity by 2022, with 4300 MW from decentralized and rooftop-scale solar projects. Power generated can be used for self-consumption or fed into the grid. Rooftop SPV systems can replace DG gensets during load shedding. The price of solar power is competitive with commercial tariffs. In grid-connected systems, DC power is converted to AC and fed to the grid.
