The proposed cold storage shall be a multi chamber i commodity facility.The facility shall be used for Mangoes,Citrus,Papaya,Grapes,Guava,Beans,Carrot,Spices and pulses which are produced in large quantities in the region.Cold storage shall enhance the shelf life of the produce and reduce losses.The envisaged cold storage facility shall cater to the investors in the unit as well as farmers who would like to store their perishables.Since the catchment area has a wide variety of perishables,the cold store shall be utilized through out the year.
