The Makson Group of Companies began as a family-owned confectionery business in 1926, starting as a small, manually operated, in-house manufacturing unit for the local market. The business expanded significantly when the founder and chairman, Mr. Dhanjibhai, a mechanical engineer, was inspired to build confectionery machinery after visiting an exhibition in 1972. This led to the formation of the Makson Group as a machinery manufacturer and exporter. In 1983, Makson expanded into contract confectionery manufacturing for renowned companies and later, in 2004, started manufacturing gumbases. Today, Makson is recognized as a leading Confectionery Machine Manufacturer and the largest Contract Confectionery Manufacturer in India.
