Gear Life & Bearing Life
The calculation for Gear Pitting life:- All our Gearbox’s Output torque (T2 lim) has been calculated according to ISO Standard 6336 using a safe allowable contact stress number of 1,500 N/mm² and a Life Factor related to 50 million Cycles. We use a Minimum 1.5 Application Factor while selecting our Gearboxes, which grants almost Infinite Gear life (Ref.: Wohler Curve & Diagram). The Calculation for Satellite Gear’s Bearing Life:- Using an Application Factor 1.5 on T2 lim and an output speed ≤ 7 rpm, Mill Gears has selected all bearings to achieve a basic life of over 100,000 hours. This feature is allowed by the dedicated engineering of all stages.
