Onyx Engineering Company is a systems integrator, specialising in the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of fire fighting, fire protection, fire detection systems, utility systems like compressed air, raw water, chilled water, LPG, CO2, N2, O2 and HSD piping systems. Onyx Engineering Company was established in November 2009 by Uday Chirde with a specific aim: to give high quality, honest, integrated services under one roof in a high risk industrial segment, designed to save money for clients and to also benefit society and the environment. In the five months of its first financial year, the company achieved a turnover of Rs. 25 lakhs. With its commitment to never compromising on quality, using only products of renowned brands, transparent and fair dealings with clients and contractors, within just a span of 3 years Onyx has notched a turnover of more than 500 lakhs. What, however, has set the company apart from others is its distinguishing value added service. In the interest of ensuring safety against fires, Onyx has adopted the policy of shunning annual maintenance contracts and instead educating and thoroughly training their clients' staff in all aspects of the fire systems installed in their units. This has resulted in, not only saving money for clients but also helping them have well-trained and ready teams on site to fight or to deal with any fire related emergencies. Moreover, the systems are installed in a simple way, so clients find it easy to maintain them.
