SAVITRI GROUP started out in the Rice milling industry with a modest initial capacity of producing 25 tons per hour and is now capable of crushing paddy to 600 tons/day with its latest state of art plants located in various locations at Raichur, Karnataka. The history of Savitri Group has its roots dated back to the 1922’s. We were first introduced to the local market as a small business that operated as a sole proprietorship concern, under the name Savitri Suggaih oil mill. Though the first rice mill was started in 1976 and the second in 1987, which was following the steady growth, we introduced timely automation and integrated it into our existing factory, thus meeting the needs and demands of consumers today. Growing demand for our product resulted in our rapid growth and we made a name in the market for providing quality rice with consistency. In 2005 we incorporated a new modern era rice mill in our production lineup with fully atomized processing which translated us the highest and most reliable quality rice manufacturers in south India. Our business also began to slowly diversify to include the manufacturing of rice byproducts and trading basmati rice.
