Bahadurgarh, also known as the Gateway of Haryana; is a sub-district in the Jhajjar Distt. of Haryana, India. It is one of the fastest cities of NCR to develop largely on the scale of industry and economy. Everything has been going fast in the city, from the establishment of Industries to becoming an educational hub, Bahadurgarh is in its prime time and currently is seeing its all round development. The population of the city is also increasing with employment opportunities being made available to more and more people every upcoming day; the residential growth is also increasing with the development of colonies. Mughal Ruler Alamgir II founded Bahadurgarh in 1754. It was first named Sharafabad but then changed into Bahadurgarh by the Baloch Rulers of Farrukhnagar who were given the sovereignty later. In 1793, Sindhia occupied Bahadurgarh but later was defeated by the British in 1803 and the rulership was given to the nawab of Jhajjar. After Jhajjar was abolished as a state, bahadurgarh became a part of it and is still growing to becoming an important part of the country.
