The company started in the name of Sri Venkateswaraa Engineering at Chennai during 1992. Initially, it was a tiny machine shop catering to automobile industries. With experience gained and continuous technical support from Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam, the company registered with the Madras Regional Purchase Unit of the Department of Atomic Energy at Chennai to participate in tenders with all units at Kalpakkam. In 2000, the company received its first project for a Sewage Treatment Plant at Koyembedu, Chennai, through M/s. VA Tech Wabag Ltd. The work included fabrication and erection of aluminum sewage gates, aerator with gearbox erection, aeration tank handrails in SS and carbon steel piping, and CI piping (with lead lining). Following the successful completion of this project, the company began receiving regular projects for various sewage and water treatment plants for different sites across India from M/s. VA Tech Wabag. After 2000, the company executed more complex projects such as Chemical Storage Tanks, Demisting & Filtration equipment’s for VOG System of BARC, API, CPI, DAF Tanks for Export Projects, ACV Package for BARC, ADU Powder Transfer System, Lamella plates and supports for Desalination Plants, and SDX Piping works for Desalination Plants, covering fabrication, testing, inspection, and dispatch to client project sites.
