What we test
Strength & rupture
BST · Bursting Strength Test — pressure in kilopascals (kPa) at which the board ruptures. The classic quality-acceptance check.
BFT · Bursting Frequency Test — resistance to repeated rupture, used when boards see high-fatigue handling.
ECT · Edge Crush Test — edge-crush force; the single most direct predictor of how high your finished boxes can be stacked.
RCT · Ring Crush Test — paper-level compressive strength, often paired with ECT.
BCT · Box Compression Test — load a finished, glued box bears before collapse. Most relevant when shipping fully made cartons.
Paper quality
GSM · Grams per Square Metre Check — basis weight of the paper. The foundation of every spec sheet.
COBB · Cobb Value Test — water absorbed by the paper surface in 60 seconds. Tells you how the board will behave in humid storage and transit.
MC · Moisture Check — percentage of water in paper or board. Correlates directly with strength loss when out of range.
Turnaround
Tests | Working days
