Woollen Tweeds

These fabrics are made from either 100% wool or wool-blend yarns. They are milled to have a felted appearance, a soft hand feel, and a bouncy texture. Among the many modified twill weaves in use are herringbones, diamonds, chevrons, cross twills, and checks, as well as a plethora of stripe, marl, fleck, and mingled heather effects in a variety of tones and hues.Tweed is still widely used in a variety of weather-resistant product categories, including Hunting Jackets, Blazers, Coats, Trench Coats, Flat Caps, Pants, etc.
