Mobile Medical Unit

One major initiative taken by Arogya was the operationalization of Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) to provide a range of health care services for populations living in remote, inaccessible, un-served and underserved areas mainly with the objective of taking healthcare service delivery to the doorsteps of these populations. They deliver a wide variety of health services and may be staffed by a combination of physicians, nurses, community health workers, and other health professionals
