Founded in 1996 by Patron Shri Swaroopchand Jain, ABLR transformed regional agriculture by introducing tissue culture-raised banana plants thereafter high sugar content. Sugarcane plants were tissue culture and provided to farmers resulting in establishing of 4 new Sugar Mills in Chhattisgarh. (The state had none) Similarly bamboo and eucalyptus were tissue culture for large scale plantations in the state. ABLR is dedicated to integrating advanced biotechnology into rural agriculture, making scientific advancements accessible to farmers. Our mission is to conduct world-class research in biotechnology while sustainably utilizing Chhattisgarh’s bio-resources.
