Description
The Vira ground-based robotic platform is designed to navigate challenging terrains with precision, enabling efficient, heavy load transportation in remote and demanding environments. This platform promises to revolutionize high altitude logistics delivery, overcoming traditional transportation limitations with a reliable and cost-effective solution. Vira’s primary function is to enhance the operational effectiveness of military logistics, especially in forward areas characterized by difficult terrain. Capable of carrying customizable loads up to 500 kilograms, Vira ensures timely & secure delivery of essential military stores, ammunition & equipment directly to frontline units. VIRA can also be customized for medivac and human transport. This capability not only bolsters the readiness of military forces but also minimizes reliance on conventional, less efficient transportation methods, thereby enhancing overall mission success rates. The VIRA platform excels in off-road reconnaissance missions, thanks to its robust tracks and agile chassis. Its fully electric drive system, complemented by exchangeable rechargeable batteries, guarantees extended operation in isolated locations. VIRA can navigate manually, on pre-feed way-point routes & has “follow the leader” function. VIRA’s adaptability is further highlighted by its capacity to integrate various equipment and software extensions, making it a versatile asset for tasks ranging from military logistics to autonomous patrolling. VIRA is designed for rough terrain and high payload applications, and is equipped with cleat tread and a 30 mm tread depth to master challenging conditions. It has a top speed of 13.4 km/hr and supports payloads up to 500 kg. VIRA will help to enhance the operational effectiveness of military logistics operations by delivering reliable, efficient, and cost-effective solutions for last-mile transportation, thereby supporting mission success and maintaining momentum on the battlefield.
