Amrita Magnetics Private Limited

Amrita Magnetics Private Limited is based out of Plot No. 705/14 in Phase Iv of the GIDC at Vu Nagar. This area is quite spread out, and we’re just one of many small units lined up along the main road. Our space is mostly taken up by heavy machinery and stacks of raw materials. It’s definitely not the quietest place to spend a day, but we’ve grown to like the constant hum of the equipment. There’s a small, dented desk near the front where we keep the ledger and the old telephone. We don't spend any money on decorations or fancy paint. A few old calendars hanging on the wall are about as far as we go with that. The weather in Vu Nagar can get pretty intense, so we’ve got some big metal shutters to keep the dust out when the wind starts blowing hard. At Plot No. 705/14, we just focus on the technical side of things. Most of the guys here have been working with magnets and different materials for many years. We don't talk much while the machines are running because you really have to pay attention to what you're doing. Lunch is usually eaten together in a small corner of the shop, away from the dust. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or corporate. We’re just a private company doing our work in the GIDC. It’s a straightforward life for us here in Vu Nagar.
