Dust collectors or a Dust collection system is a device or a set of arrangements to collect dusts from industrial sources via hood, and transported it to dust filtering or cleaning device via Ducts. At air cleaners the dusts are removed from air stream using various methods, and finally filtered air is passed to atmosphere via Industrial Blower and chimney. Dusts as it gets smaller and smaller, its too dangerous. Any dusts of sizes lesser than 2.5 microns can get pass through our lungs into our blood stream and affects our health severely. The severity of dusts varies depending on nature of dusts, its chemical compositions, temperature, sizes and particle loading etc.. These dusts should be effectively captured and filtered before passing it to atmosphere as per Pollution Control Board norms and Industrial hygiene standards in order to improve health, safety and productivity of employees and also to protect the Environment.
