ACIROL VLX

Composition: Sulfited blend of modified unsaturated vegetable oils. Analytical Constants: Active Content 60 ± 2% PH of 10% Emulsion 5.5 to 7.0 Charge Anionic Stability Emulsions stable to acids, salts and chrome liquor under usual tannery conditions. Appearance Transparent  pale  coloured  oil  of  medium viscosity. Properties: Acirol VLX gives very fine particle sized emulsions. It has outstanding emulsifying properties and can disperse a high percentage of its own weight of vegetable, marine & mineral oils – a fact which can be utilized to blend it with different unpolarised oils to prepare blended fatliquors for different purposes. Because of its exceptional stability in electrolytes VLX can be used at any stage during wet processing. Acirol VLX is light fast to a limited extent thus its use in fatliquoring white leather is best avoided. Application: Because emulsions of Acirol VLX are exceptionally stable to electrolytes it can be used at any stage during wet processing. Acirol VLX can be used for Uppers, Softy Uppers, Garments, Lining and other light Leathers. It can also be gainfully used for all kinds of vegetable tanned leathers. It can be also used where leathers need to be vacuum dried.
