Altenergymag.com was founded in 2002 by practicing futurist Bob Hetherington. In 1996, Bob launched one of the first online-only magazines with the home automation site Hometoys.com. He retired in 2018, and the business was continued by his youngest son, Brandon. Brandon still manages two online magazines: Roboticstomorrow and Manufacturingtomorrow. Altenergymag.com is now in the hands of his oldest son, Lucas. Our goal going forward is to provide an easy to read product resource for solar panels, invertors, batteries and tools new and old. We are moving away from articles but our entire archive is still available here.

Buyers use this number to triage suppliers at scale.
