CEEYES Engineering Industries Private Limited was established in 1991 with a vision to reclaim and recondition worn-out ferrous and non-ferrous components using Metal Spraying Technology. Initially incubated as a student-professor project, the company developed various reclamation techniques for industries like BHEL and Indian Railways. In 2002, CEEYES ventured into manufacturing camshafts for ALCO derivative locomotives and became a leader in this field. By 2008, it augmented its production capacity to become the sole heavy-duty camshaft manufacturing unit in South India, also starting exports. CEEYES is a role-model venture spun out of the Science & Technology Entrepreneurs Park (STEP) movement.
