Foundry Resin - Ester Cured Phenolic Resole Resin for No-Bake (ALPHASET)

This is a two-part No-Bake system in which 1st part comprises alkaline phenolic liquid resole resin as Binder and 2nd part is single or mixture of esters as Hardener. The system is ideally suitable for Steel, Iron & aluminium metal castings. It is Nitrogen-free and very suitable for castings. It exhibits excellent high temperature properties (superior thermal shock characteristics) resulting in a substantial reduction in casting defects like veining, stabbing, inclusions, hot tear, etc. The castings made with this Binder system have excellent surface finish.
