IDC’s torsional studies help prevent downtime by evaluating the performance of the entire rotating driveline, including couplings, dampers, shafts, and other system components. Our standard turnaround time for an analysis is 10 days from receipt of all information. IDC will assist in correcting any torsional vibration issues. TorSim is IDC’s in-house developed software used for conducting torsional vibration analysis on the rotating components we analyze. We continually revise TorSim based on data acquired from on-site tests. Proactive analysis will identify potential failures on components such as couplings, dampers, shafts, and other system components during operation. An IDC Torsional Vibration Analysis (TVA) provides the following: A coupling selection based on installation specific dynamic response Solutions to torsional vibration related package failures A report which meets Marine Classification Society or API requirements Peace of mind knowing that your system is free of damaging torsional vibrations

IDC’s Pulsation Analysis evaluates gas pulsations in reciprocating compressor manifolds and piping systems to determine the appropriate design for optimal performance. Our understanding of the systems and standards required for safe system operation is superior with quick turn-around time.
