Description

Kapsons offers a wide range of stampings / laminations suitable for various applications. They are available in different sizes up to 1250mm OD. Also, to meet various application demands, we manufacture these laminations with different material compositions and various designs. We undertake development of special types of stampings / laminations for varied requirements. Our in-house tool room set up allows quick development and try-outs. Today, we produce more than 20000MT of laminations in a year.

Press Shop

The press shop at Kapsons is equipped with 60 power presses with capacity from 50MT to 400MT and a slitting line. High-quality, precision laminations are produced on 10 progressive, automatic stamping lines with capacity from 80MT to 300MT. This includes advanced, automatic and high-speed presses of 200MT and 300MT from Chin Fong. The workforce at Kapsons is well-trained to operate these machines to achieve the highest accuracy level. The plant layout is such that the material movement is faster, allowing us to work at full efficiency level.

Notching shop

Our notching shop is equipped with 28 notching presses with capacity ranging from 8MT to 25MT which ensures high precision and high output consistently. We also have a high-precision, servo-controlled Notch Master from Schuler, Germany, which is procured along with a state-of-the-art, high-precision die to achieve the highest level of precision. The notching shop possesses capacity to produce high-quality, large-sized stampings with skip notching facility.

Tool Room

The company possesses its own tool room equipped with most modern CNC machines such as EDMs, CNC Wirecut EDMs, CNC machining centers, Surface grinders, VMCs and HMCs of reputed makes. We also have a large stock of ready-to-use standard dies, helping clients to cut down procurement time. Our engineering team, consisting of the best talent in the industry, is always eager to undertake new developments which are highly demanding and challenging.

Other facilities

We possess in-house facilities such as heat treatment shop, slitting lines, de-carbonizing plants(3 lines), metallurgical laboratory and calibration facility. This allows us to exercise precise control on quality and delivery schedules. With all these facilities, Kapsons' Jalandhar plant is one of the most sophisticated, large and integrated facilities for laminations in India, making us a leader in this field.
