Karandikars Orgochem Pvt. Ltd. is one of the leading SME involved in manufacture, supply & export of chemical products. A family owned business, since 50+ years, having a trusted name for its quality and consistency in the domestic as well as global markets. Our history begins in 1936, when late Mr. Gopal Karandikar established the company Pearl Products Company Private Limited in Mumbai. The company was a pioneer (first company in India) in manufacturing Tapioca Starch, Glucose and Modified Starches. During that era the company had the privilege to serve prestigious clientele like Sandoz, Corn Products, Mahindra and Mahindra, Shivaji Works etc. The rich heritage of manufacturing modified starch was taken forward by Mr. Anand Karandikar (Director, Pearl Products). In 2010, Dr. Satyajit Karandikar joined the business after completing his MSc. from UK and Marie Curie funded European PhD program in Organic Chemistry. Under his guidance the company set its vision to deliver breakthrough products by providing sustainable solutions. Today, we manufacture, and supply biopolymer based eco-friendly products to diverse industries like Textiles, Paper packaging, Concrete admixture (Construction), Ceramics, Adhesives, Agriculture and Foundry.
