Khodiyar Ceramics (I) Pvt. Ltd. (KCIPL) began on path to becoming a leading anti corrosion products company in India by first taking charge of the exiting organization Khodiyar Industries. Our founder Mr. J R Patel was the leading force in the establishment of our company in 1995. We were on our way to manufacturing good quality products including acid proof bricks, chemical resistant flooring tiles, etc which was accomplished using our heavy press machinery. The facility was upgraded to include a new tunnel dryer and grinding unit. This was highly beneficial since it resulted in an improvement of our product quality. In a massive shifting of the manufacturing technique we went from pressing to high capacity de-airing extrusion technology. Furthermore the Tunnel Kiln was built which has a 3600 tonne per annum capacity. This process improved our product quality even more. Khodiyar Clay products was established in 2002. This was constructed in a approximately 3500 sq. meter area. Amongst the products being manufactured here it included Acid Resistance tiles. By 2003 we had almost doubled our capacity Kiln (Tunnel) and our production capacity was over 6500 tonne per annum. In addition to this we also installed three new de-airing extrusion machines. We established another unit, Khodiyar Clay Art which was constructed in approximately 3000 sq. meter area. Our capacity was at over 6000 tonne per month of Tunnel Kiln (High Temperature). This was when we installed 2 new de-airing high vacuum extrusion machines. Our production started at the Khodiyar Clay product plant. The Khodiyar Ceramic tunnel Kiln, dryer was renovated. The entire set of old extrusion machines were replaced. This was replaced by newer and state of the art machines that implemented an improved technology. Khodiyar Ceramics, Khodiyar Clay Products and Khodiyar Clay Art were merged into Khodiyar Ceramics (I) Pvt. Ltd. A new grinding unit was established in an area of 700 sq. meters. The grinding produce from raw material was stored.
