Colours for FRP

Dispersion of colours is carried out in batches which are then blended to make a standard shade. In process testing is carried out on the batches as well as on the standard shade. Pigment pastes produced are compared with a standard sample from a master lot. A final comparison is done to check if the shade matches the standard lot. This testing involves making a fibre glass laminate, epoxy potting or foaming as applicable to the end product. Comparisons are made with the standard sample as well as the produced lot. The comparison is made using specialised colour matching equpiment. For polyurethane foams we have set up an in-house test foaming laboratory.
