Mac-Chem is a NMM group company, a successful and diversified pharma group with a footprint in specialized segments like Oncology, General APIs and Bulk Sterile. We have manufacturing plants in four locations employing around 800 professionals. Mac-Chem was established in 2010 and operates in more than 40 countries across the globe. Mac-Chem specializes in speciality pharma APIs. Our ultramodern manufacturing facility is accredited by US-FDA, EDQM, COFEPRIS, ANVISA, MFDS-Korea, WHO-GMP and ISO. Mac-Chem is focused on Oncology and other niche speciality APIs. We supply its quality API to the top 15 Oncology players in India for exports to the European Markets. Our investments are mostly geared towards exports especially to the Regulated Markets and we aim to achieve 50% plus of our turnover from exports. Mac-Chem’s portfolio centers on niche molecules in the API markets where the volumes are relatively low. Hence strategically Mac-Chem is focused to acquire molecules that are new to the market with the inherent technological barrier of complex chemistry. Mac-Chem’s secret of success is that it is established by technocrats. Instead of aiming to gain more customers, we have constantly focused on optimizing our operations. Another critical factor that contributed to our success is our Lyophilization proficiency which we have built diligently since early 1990s. Presently Mac-Chem has 3 Lyophilizers. One more major factor for our success is management’s focus on top quality since inception. Mac-Chem is constantly making changes towards better operations. Another key advantage is the Vertical integration of our services. Mac-Chem invests 8% of its revenue on R&D. We build a sustainable quality culture. We have 10-12 generic molecules developed every year and continuously working on molecules going off-patent in the next 5-7 years. Our long term business goal is 50% sales from markets like USA, Europe and Semi-regulated markets. We will adapt our approach according to specific market needs. We are planning to appoint our own representatives to work in the International Market and serve the company remotely. We sincerely believe this will make a big difference to our sales growth in the years to come.
