Heat exchangers for heating and cooling modules ensure a balanced thermal cycle for lubricating oils, allowing lubricants to heat up quickly to reduce fuel consumption at cold start and preventing overheating at high oil temperatures to extend oil change intervals. Current modules also handle channel guidance, temperature regulation, and filtering of the coolant flow.
