The Beginning
MATTER began with one audacious belief: India deserved electric mobility without compromise. We listened to riders who wanted more, built every capability in-house, and assembled a team bold enough to attempt the impossible. 2019 laid the technical and cultural foundation for an energy-independent future.
Birth of AERA
While the world slowed down, we accelerated. AERA took shape. Liquid cooling for electric two-wheelers. MATTER Energy for battery mastery. Our first prototype came alive - reliable, raw, real. That moment proved disciplined engineering can turn audacious ideas into working machines.
Growth & R&D
A roar is only the beginning. Our R&D facility became the proving ground—thousands of hours, every detail scrutinized, three hundred engineers iterating relentlessly. AERA evolved from a working prototype into a purpose-built motorcycle. Refinement is where promises become products.
Product Exhibition
Years of work met the world. We opened our factory and put AERA on stage. The keynote shifted everything—from internal belief to public validation. Riders saw it, touched it, felt it. In that moment, MATTER stopped being an idea and became tangible.
Pre-Booking & Deliveries
Pre-bookings opened, and 40,000 riders joined instantly. We invested deeper in cell manufacturing and battery chemistry, building sustainable production at scale. What began as a single prototype became a nationwide movement. India proved it was ready for manual transmission to meet electric power.
The Momentum Year
Deliveries of AERA began—finally, riders met their machines. The Ahmedabad Experience Hub redefined engagement in the EV space. Innovation continued with Tech Day 2.0 and the reveal of AERATOMY. We also launched AERATHON Bharat, riding across India to connect cultures and causes. 2024 marked not just milestones, but memories in motion.
No Road Left Behind
Production scaled with the launch of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, bringing AERA to full production. 25+ Experience Hubs expanded our presence across India. India’s most awarded electric motorbike reached everywhere including the rough terrain of the Rann of Kutch. Matter Looped marked AERA’s first track experience, turning anticipation into adrenaline.
