NIDS group formed in 1980 is headquartered in Pune, India and is into alternative power and engineering sector and was setup to provide end to end solution in Gensets and CUMMINS® engine parts market. NIDS group embarked on a journey to transform into a fully integrated business house and incorporated the following verticals: North India Diesel Spares, KPK Engine Parts Corp, United Gensets, Mas Pistons, Ace Diesel Power, and Ankun Global Corp. The NIDS Group started off in 1980 under the name North India Diesel Spares with trading activities specializing in replacement spare parts for CUMMINS® engines. It went on to manufacture and export parts all over the world. MAS Pistons was established in 1999 as a specialized manufacturer of Aluminium Pistons and Cast Iron Components. The group’s foray into forward integration led it to venture into the Genset manufacturing business in 2002 under the name United Gensets Pvt Ltd (OEM for Mahindra Powerol Gensets). In time, ACE Diesel Power was formed to cater to the growing demand of Genset hiring services required by industries, infrastructure companies and EPC contactors. The ANKUN Global Corporation was established to leverage the group’s expertise and knowledge in the Engineering, Manufacturing and Sourcing industry.
