Established in 1947 as Amra Press by first-generation entrepreneurs M.E.Subramanian and M.E.Swaminathan, the company initially focused on letterpress printing for publishers. In 1972, M.E.Subramanian's son, Nagarajan, joined and introduced sheetfed offset technology in 1978. The company grew through the 80s and 90s, becoming known for reliability and quality.
