Ziram is a fungicie with a preventive activity and a broad spectrum of action. It exhibits a useful repellent action against birds and rodents. It inhibits spore germination and mycellium growth by interfering with various enzymes involved in the respiration process. It is mainly used for the control; of early and late blight of potatoes/tomatoes; downy mildew and anthracnose in grapes/cucurbits; scab of apples; sigatoka of banana; melanose of citrus etc.
