UHMW-PE BALLS

UHMW-PE has one of the highest impact strengths of any thermoplastic. It is abrasion resistant, has high tensile strength, displays resistance to stress cracking, and has a good coefficient of friction. It is well-suited where durability and low friction are of paramount importance. Its high resistance to corrosive chemicals, with the exception of oxidizing acids, make it an ideal choice for a wide variety of corrosive environment applications. UHMW-PE can operate successfully at temperatures as low as -375°F making it an excellent material for cryogenic applications. UHMW-PE is available in several grades including USDA/FDA approved natural, ultraviolet safe black, and cross-linked, which offers better wear resistance.
