Pulkit’s journey began with a modest production of 2,400 metric tons per annum. Today, we stand tall as one of South India’s largest manufacturers of TMT and CRS bars, with an impressive installed capacity of 6 lakh tons per annum. Our fully integrated steel plant ensures every product meets the highest standards of quality and reliability, delivering strength you can trust in every project.

Pulkit Lab on Wheels is a mobile testing facility that allows you to test the quality of your TMT bars right at your doorstep. It offers advanced evaluations, including bendability, ductility, chemical composition, tensile strength, and more, providing instant, accurate results.

The work culture at PMPL involves constant and timely upgradation of technology and our facilities boast of a production line that is closely monitored. Automated state-of-the-art milling machines at all our workshops ensure consistency and stringent quality assurance and also helps in rolling out bars across a range of diameters, with precision and accuracy. PMPL has excellent laboratory facilities and all incoming raw materials and outgoing finished goods undergo strict quality checks. All elements are analysed using a spectrometer.

Pulkit's plant at Puducherry has received an accolade by UNDP-GEP for its green initiatives as well as the Energy Conservation Award - 2009 from the Government of Puducherry. Our Puducherry plant is the first to take a green initiative by installing a Biomass Gasifier which displaced the usage of 7000 litres of furnace oil per day, reducing the emission levels by 20 tons per day or 6000 tonnes per year. Pulkit also produces its own Biofuels for the gasifier, an initiative that has helped encourage the local villagers to improve their economic status by encashing their agro waste. Additionally, Pulkit is the first steel company in South India to manufacture corrosion-resistant steel TMT bars. Pulkit Metals earned the BWR (Brickwork Ratings) credit rating of "BBB" (-) (indicating stable) in January 2017. Pulkit's Srikalahasti plant produces 12MW power using WHRB (Waste Heat Recovery Boilers) system.
