RECO Transformers Pvt. Ltd. is a commercial success story today, had its modest beginnings as a SSI unit in the year 1987(Wadala Works). With the experience of over 32 years in manufacturing of Toroidal Cores, we diversified to produce Low Voltage Current Transformers in 1995, Voltage Transformers and Control Transformers in 2008, Ring Main Unit CT's in 2012 and Series Input & Output Chokes in 2023. The manufacturing process of Low Voltage Instrument Transformers is a vertical upward integration of its available set up of core manufacturing. Equipped with the know how and an existing set up, Reco embarked on production of current transformers in 1995 in Wadala, Mumbai. Encouraged by a favourable response and an ever growing demand from the local and overseas customers, the company shifted its operations to a state-of-the-art unit in Lonavala 90 Km from Mumbai in 2005.
