The company is a sister concern of m/s Malnad Alloy Castings pvt ltd. The company was floated to cater the needs of valve and pump industries in India and abroad. with an initial investment of Rs. 120 lakhs. The company was alloted 2 acres of industrial land at KIADB industrial area, Machenahalli, where the company started its commercial production during the year 1996, with the financial assistance from Karnataka state financial corporation, Shimoga to a tune of Rs. 50 lakhs.
