Swift Agro Chemicals & Nutrients Pvt. Ltd. was established in 1974 to meet the needs of farmers and the seed business. Swift Agro developed their own YPRI (Young Plant Raising in India) Unit in Lonikand, Pune, Western Maharashtra in 1999 as a pioneer project of its genre in India, with the backing of then Novartis BV and SENTER (Government of The Netherlands). The focus was once again on providing assistance to farmers, this time with a concentration on getting the most out of expensive hybrid seeds. A year after starting operations, Swift Agro diversified into supporting landscapers and nurseries by offering seasonal flower seeds, seedlings, and ornamentals, with a focus on different species of imported floral seeds. Swift Agro is one of the most prestigious distributors of ornamental and flowering seeds, having been chosen by the world’s leading companies in these fields. Swift Agro facilitates farming businesses adopt, develop, and promote sustainable, cost-effective agricultural production solutions.
