STAR Pipes and Fittings began production and marketing of flexible suction and delivery hoses in1994 under the brand name STAR Pipes and Fittings Flex. To meet the growing demands of overseas clients, it registered the STAR Pipes and Fittings Impex brand with Dubai as the nodal centre. Continuing to grow, the company added more facilities; it installed a PVC pipe manufacturing unit at Thrissur in Kerala, followed by manufacturing facilities in Chennai and Dubai.
