Tamilnadu Telecommunications Limited (TTL) was set up in 1988, a three-way joint venture of Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL), a Government of India Enterprise, Tamilnadu Industrial Development Corporation Limited (TIDCO), a Govt. of Tamilnadu Enterprise, and Fujikura Limited of Japan. In 1998, TTL diversified into the manufacture of state-of-the-art optical fiber cables in technical collaboration with Fujikura Limited of Japan. TTL’s OFC Plant is located in CMDA Industrial Complex, Maraimalai Nagar, about 40 Kms from Chennai.
