Realizing a new form of automotive society through press processing technology. Since its founding in 1935, Topre has spent approximately 80 years honing its plastic (press) processing technology. With its unique mold manufacturing technology and the free thinking and advanced planning and design capabilities of an independent manufacturer, it has developed numerous high-quality automotive parts. In recent years, in order to support the reduction of CO2 emissions while ensuring the safety of automobiles, we are pursuing further weight reduction and increased strength of each part. We provide technology for the global environment and the new automotive society.
Achieves both strength and lightness with ultra-high tensile strength materials.
One of Topre's great strengths is its processing technology for high-tensile steel (Hiten-zai). Hiten-zai, which has particularly high strength among steels, combines strength and lightness, but it was extremely difficult to form. Topre started productizing high-tensile steel press products early on with its high technical capabilities. Currently, we have also realized the processing of ultra-high-tensile steel with a strength of 1180MPa class, which is used as the material for the skeletal parts of automobiles.
Achieves significantly increased strength with the hot stamping process.
For further weight reduction and increased strength, Topre has newly developed the hot stamping process. By pressing the steel plate heated to approximately 900°C, quenching (heat treatment) is performed simultaneously, significantly improving strength. This allows us to mass-produce products with a strength of 1470MPa class. Furthermore, this technology was introduced to a factory in the United States for the first time by a Japanese parts manufacturer.
Achieves rapid and accurate production system.
In order to meet the needs of all manufacturers, Topre is equipped with multiple CAD software and has introduced CAE for high-precision analysis. We also have a complete integrated production line. With a development and production system that can achieve mass production in a short period of time from planning, we can quickly and accurately respond to the customer's desired specifications.
