Description
High Speed Steels (HSS) are molybdenum- and tungsten-based tool steels capable of maintaining cutting-edge hardness of 62–67 HRC at service temperatures up to 540 °C. They combine high wear resistance, excellent toughness and superior red hardness — making them the material of choice for drills, taps, reamers, milling cutters, saw blades, broaches, gear cutters and threading tools.
