Standard Gauge Metro Coaches for Mumbai Metro Line 6

Titagarh Rail Systems Limited has been awarded a contract by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) to manufacture 108 standard-gauge metro coaches for Line 6 of the Mumbai Metro Rail Project, in association with NCC Limited. The total project value is Rs. 6,672 crores, with Titagarh’s share amounting to approximately Rs. 2,501 crores. The execution of the contract is stated to commence 62 weeks after signing the contract and is expected to be completed in 154 weeks thereafter.
