Achivea Synergies Private Limited is based in Agarwala House on Cornfield Road. We are on the first floor, which is easy enough to get to. 1A Cornfield Road is a decent spot in Kolkata. It is not too noisy, but it is not silent either. The office has that lived-in feel. We have been here for some time and the desks have a few scratches on them. We have a lot of books and files scattered around. It is a small team and we all know each other well. There is no corporate ladder here. We just sit together and figure things out. Sometimes we stay late and order food, and other times we leave exactly on time. The building itself is a solid old place. We have a window that lets in some light, but mostly we rely on the overhead tubes. We don't have a fancy mission statement on the wall. We just have a calendar with a lot of scribbles on it. Every day is different, but the routine of coming to Cornfield Road stays the same. We handle the emails, the calls, and the paperwork. It is an honest living. We are just a bunch of regular people working in a regular office. We like the simplicity of it. No big shows, just a place where work actually happens between the tea breaks and the chats we have during the rainy afternoons.
