At Acme Universal Safezone 9, we began in 1994 with a mission to transform the fledgling safety shoe industry in India. Over the past 32 years, we have not only fueled remarkable growth in this sector but also established ourselves as pioneers committed to innovation, quality, and service. Acme's journey started in Gwalior, driven by the vision of providing specialized protective footwear to Indian industries where safety awareness was still minimal. We began small, with a single factory producing just 100 pairs of shoes per day. Despite the challenges of an undeveloped market, we persevered to build awareness and supply for quality safety shoes tailored for the unique risks faced by the Indian workforce. Through the late 1990s and 2000s, Acme's investments in technology, materials, and skill development helped advance the entire safety footwear category. We upgraded production to leverage automation, introduced new shoe designs incorporating global safety standards, and expanded our facilities and capabilities. These efforts stimulated market demand while positioning Acme as the go-to brand for industries looking to enhance worker safety and productivity. Today, we manufacture over 13,000 pairs daily across six strategically located factories.
