It is an air tight sealing, based on combination of different layers of High Temperature Sealant. Its flexible nature controls the leakage through pipe movements, cracks and joints. The product can be applied to any shape because of its flexibility. The Air ingress mostly happens due to the expansion of tubes carrying water and steam at high pressure. The high pressure and thermal expansion causes movement of tubes resulting into the boiler concrete walls and fins to crack. These cracks are very hard to locate to naked eye during unit haulage and releases ash into the dead space resulting to heavy accumulation. Emission of fly ash is not only the sole problem.
