The machine shop include Precision CNC Turning and Milling machines, Conventional Milling and Turning machines, Qualified TIG/MIG Welding facility, Qualified Heat Treatment Furnaces, Light Alloy Structure Fabrication facility, Complex Tube/Pipe Forming facility, Qualified Metrology facility, etc., with well qualified and ISRO trained engineers and technicians having a strength of about 80 personnel. Some of the subassemblies manufactured by Kortas Industries are ‘Thermal Protection Shields’, “Flux Seal Assembly’, etc. The company has got VSSC approved heat treatment facility.
